Breakfast: The most important part of the day!

This homemade shake is a great substitute if you're running late and can't make breakfast or you're just not a breakfast person. It is filling and nutritious and yes, it does taste good! I bought most of my ingredients at Trader Joe's but you can get these anywhere. Cheers!

Instead of having a plain egg on a toast, I decided to make an "egg in a basket!"

It's really easy to make and fun for a Sunday.

1. Take one slice of bread or as many as you want!
2. Use a glass or cookie cutter to punch out a hole in the middle of the bread like you see above.
3. Set aside the extra bread that you just punched out.
4. Add butter, cooking spray, or extra virgin olive oil to the pan.
5. When the pan is warmed up and ready, place the slice of bread (now with a hole in the middle) in the pan.
6. Crack an egg in the "circle" you created and make sure it stays within the opening.
7. Let it cook for a few minutes and give it a flip.
8. Remove your egg in a basket and give the "extra" piece of bread a little flip in the pan to toast so you can add it as a garnish.

*I made seasoned fries with mine.
